Please be aware that delivery timescales quoted below are estimates, and are calculated from dispatch date. Because the kaya is always made fresh, it may not be dispatched immediately even if Special Delivery is selected. If you have a specific date that you need to receive the kaya by, please put this in the Order Notes.
Please allow up to ten days from the date of your order for it to be delivered. This is because I always make the kaya fresh, and only dispatch between Monday – Wednesday to ensure it does not get stuck in the postal system over the weekend. Orders will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class (untracked) delivery. In most cases, these are delivered within 1 – 3 working days.
If you require your order by a specific date: The only postal service with a guaranteed delivery date is Royal Mail Special Delivery, guaranteed for delivery by the next working day. This is only available for a maximum of 4 jars per order. The guarantee is limited to a refund of the cost of your order including delivery, and not for any other associated costs. There is an additional charge for this service.
Please take a moment when placing your order to ensure that your address is complete and correct, and also ensure that there will be someone available to receive the parcel – it should ideally not be left in the sun or outdoors for long periods of time as this will affect the quality of the kaya.
Unfortunately, once the parcel has entered the postal network, I have no further control over it and if Royal Mail has to return the parcel due to it being undeliverable, I may have to deduct the cost of postage from any refund due.
