Peanut and Shallot Chilli Oil

Made by my friend Ping Coombes, UK MasterChef Champion of Champions and winner of a Great Taste Award star in 2025.

Shallots and garlic are lovingly crisped by hand in extra virgin rapeseed oil pressed right at Ping HQ where this chilli oil is made, and they will stay crispy until you are scraping the very last of it out of the jar and beyond. The flavour is rounded out beautifully with roasted peanuts, and we are not joking when we say this goes well with pretty much anything, whether sweet or savoury.
